Comment on Internet comms as collaborative thought

very seams as thou text has evolved to be the lowest form of language that we have come to witness. language is always subject to interpretation even in person, but in person you have so much other data coming in from body language, voice tone, eye contact and all your senses to read the situation on more than just the word level. that's why they don't get engraved into your memory as something someone else has said to you, and appears as thou it was a thought rather than a communication, because it was a thought when you read it.
