I completely agree, especially with the part about how people are willing to say some things they wouldn't in person, as the poly/multilogue is similar to an internal conversation. Also, with the incredibly diverse internet-using populationt, it seems like lots of memes, slang, and culture are being exposed to it when they would have never seen it otherwise.
