Comment on Mathematics and the Psychedelic Revolution

Thanks Dmitri, your links are very interesting :)

I strongly believe in the psychedelics not as the drugs but as the construction of thoughts and visual patterns in our minds and I do believe these paths of thought and visualizations can be achieved not only with the use of hallucinogenic substances, but also with meditation , breathing, visual and sound stimuli —- there are ways to access and interfere the brainwaves to create such psychedelic state which are not necessarily the use of these substances.

The word psychedelic comes from the Greek words for mind (psyche), and manifest (delos). Manifestation of the Mind.......
A person in a "psychedelic state" is supposed to be able to feel new ways of looking at his mind that were unknown to him before . In psychedelic state your brain functions in alpha/theta waves, and i guess the combination of a deep relaxation and a great power of abstraction of the mind can help achieve that — bring all the potential states of mind and expansion of consciousness —- Of course the use of psychedelic drugs are the fast path to get there - but I believe it's not the only one — once you know this path do you think you can get there without taking the drug and still have the psychedelic mind, the psychedelic thought and the access to a higher state of consciousness?

There's is a great book on the subject , the PDF can be downloaded here
