    Global Telepathy Network
    Project: Polytopia
The universe equals Chaitin's Constant. I will explain how to use it statistically to create a global telepathy network, which we would eventually learn to use for more advanced things.

UPDATE: This thread explains something which is true about the multiverse (in my opinion) but is less relevant to creating a global telepathy network than my Gravity For Patterns theory:http://spacecollective.org/BenRayfield/6543/Gravity-For-Patterns-a-theory-of-everything

UPDATE: I explained it in a different way here

UPDATE: This was written in the middle of http://spacecollective.org/Infinitas/6410/New-Reality-Transmission  Its been scientifically verified by http://noosphere.princeton.edu  as 2.9% chance of it happening by random chance and 97.1% chance what was measured was not random, measured by their devices at many places across the Earth. In that thread, I explain my experience in the "global telepathy network" with 43000 people who participated in the experiment. It already exists. What I wrote below is my theory about why it works followed by my plans to test it in a more interactive way using artificial intelligence and psychology software which I am building. I'm just building a way for people to use it easier. It doesn't need any technology if you're skilled enough.

Why do we need a "global telepathy network"? This is a very interesting time in history. The global economy stays just above the level of complete collapse, as the USA government prepared for by withdrawing its promise to guarantee bank accounts up to $100,000 in case your bank goes out of business. Deep levels of government secrets are protected by secret technology and used in secret meetings for purposes which its illegal for us to know. The world is constantly about to be destroyed by nuclear war and avoids it with politics at the last minute through such secret meetings. Technology advances faster than anyone can keep up with, and countries race each other for who can build the most accurate and powerful technology first, so each country can be sure no other country is a threat to them. Many millions of people die because, as George Carlin says it, "My God has a bigger dick than your God." The worst of all is, with extinction of the Human species approaching from each of those things simultaneously, most people think those problems are not important enough to do anything about and the best thing for them to do would be to mind their own business and, for God's sake, don't be 15 minutes late to work again or forget to wear a suit to the next meeting. The Human species appears to be delusional, suicidal, and more interested in watching TV and buying health insurance than avoiding their own death. Somehow, extinction sounds less dangerous than the death of 1 person. I feel like I'm on the planet of the apes. More about that athttp://spacecollective.org/BenRayfield/6467/Summarize-Earth

But surprisingly, I have much more important things to think about than any of that, a question I'm asking to the whole Human species. Just 1 question. Think carefully before you answer, because you will get what you ask for after we build the technology to do this, as I'll explain below. The most important question right now is...

How far down the "rabbit hole" do you want to go?

As I will explain below in technical detail, the only thing stopping you is yourself. Technology has come to this level, and with a few more small steps, a global telepathy network can be constructed for those who want to share their minds at that level, a purely software solution based on psychology instead of medical devices, based on patterns of physics interacting with brainwaves. From there, you will better understand what is possible. How far you take it is your choice and is based on your skill level. Its something you learn, like any other skill. Its just one of the more unusual skills. How far do I want to go down the rabbit hole? My answer:http://spacecollective.org/benrayfield/6031/The-Hitchhikers-Guide-To-Less-Than-Nothing

    The technical stuff:

Max Tegmark's theory ("All structures that exist mathematically exist also physically") is summarized at:
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Multiverse#Level_IV:_Ultimate_Ensemble

If that theory is true (which the rest of this writing will assume), then the universe equals Chaitin's Constant, equals all of math, and has a Kolmogorov Complexity of 0. The Kolmogorov Complexity of nothing (nonexistance) is also 0. The universe simultaneously equals everything and nothing. Because nothing is subset of of every other subset (in an analog way), the universe is a subset of every part of itself, therefore the universe is a fractal. Its also a fractal in the way that a Turing Machine can emulate an other Turing Machine to any depth.

An other way to say that is a multiverse of Turing Machines where each bit is viewed as a sphere which changes depending on other spheres in the ways described by quantum physics. Each quantum particle/wave/etc or combinations of them are such a sphere. There can be deep indirect connections between any 2 bits, as we know from how software normally works.

There are many Chaitin's Constants, but I mean the kind for programs up to infinity bits. The way I'm using it, the specific language of those bits will be left as an abstraction. Because of the unsolvability of the halting-problem, Chaitin's Constant is uncomputable. Multiverse branching happens because Chaitin's Constant is uncomputable. It can't choose so it does both.

Because the universe is symmetric in every way (Kolmogorov Complexity 0), and what we call reality is mostly not symmetric, what we call reality must be a subset of something that is symmetric which could be combined with other subsets to total a symmetric whole.

Because Kolmogorov Complexity 0 is the only property of the universe, there has to be something about it that results in nonsymmetric parts being self aware individually. The way Turing Machines work, many parts of the data have little or no interaction with other data, so if such data calculated a mind, it might think it is an individual and think its subset of the data is how the whole Turing Machine works. Everywhere that data is copied or interacts with other data in the Turing Machine, the statistical patterns it observed tend to be accurate. It calls them "laws of physics".

Its not just 1 Turing Machine. Its an infinite multiverse of Turing Machines, together forming some view of Chaitin's Constant. That smoothes the statistical patterns. Data can flow between them and be in many at the same time.

It doesn't fit exactly, but the Buddhists describe the universe similarly, called Indra's Net:
"Imagine a multidimensional spider's web in the early morning covered with dew drops. And every dew drop contains the reflection of all the other dew drops. And, in each reflected dew drop, the reflections of all the other dew drops in that reflection. And so ad infinitum. That is the Buddhist conception of the universe in an image." —Alan Watts

I've described the universe in a few ways. Now I'll explain how to use those statistical patterns.

We know there are statistical patterns at least as complex as life forming from quantum particles, because thats what happens here. The laws of physics are also patterns. Space, time, mass, and energy are patterns that physics statistically controls. Remember that we're assuming the universe equals all of math (Kolmogorov Complexity 0) so that requires all such patterns be made of the same stuff and have a peer-to-peer relationship instead of x created y created z. Statistically x can appear to create y, but there can be no absolute law in the universe that says it has to always happen that way. The only absolute law (which we are assuming in this text) is the Kolmogorov Complexity of the universe is 0 (universe equals all of math). If there was an other absolute law, then the Kolmogorov Complexity would have to be higher to define it.

Quantum physics is a branch of statistics and some of its equations appear to be closely related to bayesian networks, but I'm not an expert. If that is true or not, bayesian networks are still a powerful statistics tool that scales up to any number of statistical events you can store in the computer. It finds the chances of any set of events when given the chances of other events. If no other information is available about those events, then a bayesian network, when run enough cycles to find a good network shape, always approaches the correct answer with an accuracy higher than Humans can think. Humans normally win at such statistics tests only because they do not put all the relevant information into the bayesian network, because they have so many subconscious thoughts that they do not know how to put into the computer. For pure math things like quantum physics, bayesian networks, combined with various ways of inputting and outputting the timing and context of events, will find many statistical patterns.

Quantum physics research has focused too much on small size and short times. It should be expanded to look for large statistical patterns that are the effects of such small events.

Since the universe is a multiverse of an infinite number of Turing Machines and quantum physics is the sphere view of those bits, we can use the statistical properties of Turing Machines in to predict physics.

Usually Turing Machines generate mostly random appearing data but theres also some weak patterns in it that can be detected by a Bayesian Network applied to those bits.

Whatever patterns occur in the bits of those infinite number of Turing Machines (the universe) are the only patterns in the universe, therefore physics and all events are made of such patterns.

Such patterns occur in statistical clustering ways. If that was not true, what we call reality would fly apart instantly.

The patterns in our brains are mostly built on top of the patterns called physics, but statistical clustering of the other patterns will form between people who tend to think the same things, and statistical clustering will happen between people who drive on the same road often, and the same for all other patterns. They all tend to stick together, like gravity for patterns. I don't know enough physics to say if normal gravity is such statistical clustering or if it is a pattern built on top of it at some depth.

In the context of an infinite multiverse of Turing Machines, splitting off a variation of the multiverse to do calculations is trivial. It happens in every quantum physics experiment. The hard part is getting them to get far enough apart that they don't statistically cluster back together (collapse the wavefunction). When I say statistical clustering of patterns, I mean it in a fuzzy way, so there are continuous paths between collapsing a wavefunction and being a separate multiverse. Together, all such things total to a symmetric universe, a Kolmogorov Complexity of 0.

Up to now, this has been very theoretical, but it logically follows from Max Tegmark's theory ("All structures that exist mathematically exist also physically") if its true. Here's an example to support the "gravity for patterns" theory. Its a video I recorded in 2002 after practicing mental experiments for 5 months. I can't do this any time I want to, and not nearly this much any more, but the important thing is this is a result of patterns in my brain. I thought it to make it happen: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pKJGb4RNRB4  (or search youtube for "psi wheel in a clear closed box") There have always been people who had strange mental abilities. Some were called witches and burned at the stake. Some made it up. If the Kolmogorov Complexity of the universe is 0, then such mental abilities are caused by statistical clustering of patterns at the same level where the laws of physics formed as patterns. Its not magic. Its just something thats hard to access and hard to learn.

Brains learn those quantum patterns and adjust their thinking a little as if communication through neurons and axons and through those patterns was a normal part of the brain. You can disagree on the amount that will happen, but it logically follows from the universe being math that it would happen some amount. Empirically (as you can see in the video), it happens a measurable amount.

I've explained why telepathy and other unusual mental abilities should be expected if the universe equals math. My personal experience with it is not needed to understand that, but it will help some people understand physics better.

One of my long-term plans is to build a software that uses subtle psychology in its audio, video, and mouse movement interactions with each user, to statistically synchronize the subconscious minds of many people through the internet. It will detect very small patterns in their psychology (like the physics patterns in brains described above), consider previous interactions with that person and how the patterns synchronized with other people's patterns across the internet, and adjust the subtle psychology (accessed through mouse, audio, video, etc) instantly (many times per second) to statistically cause many peoples' thought patterns to flow together. For example, if it changes some realtime music (like in Audivolv) on 2 peoples' computers and causes both of them to move their mouse in the same directions at the same times, without those people knowing why they move their mouse that way, then the thoughts are synchronized some. That's not enough. When its working, disconnect the internet communications between the 2 softwares, and see how long those 2 people continue moving their mouse the same as each other (by reconnecting and comparing data after the experiment). It can be done faster by simply keeping those 2 software processes separate instead of disconnecting the internet connection. Either way, the effect is those 2 people would learn to read each other's minds. Telepathy. In my experience, it feels like mind over matter is done the same way as telepathy, and the matter is just somebody else's brain. Its a very small physical force even after months of practice, but I expect if its done more accurately using Bayesian Networks and some preprocessing on the inputs and outputs for timing, then it could be learned to a much higher skill level, and we could build machines to do it too.

It can be done in machines by using the timing of network events as quantum data (Did it come at an even or odd millisecond in this multiverse?) and sending Lisp code in the network packets to build up random Lisp software at each computer in the network. The Lisp software will observe the data coming in, keep a very small state, and choose what data goes out. When it aligns with other multiverses which have the same data and state at each node, the pasts and futures from that multiverse will be the statistical influcence that allows this to be used, in a very weak way, as a statistical alpha-point computer, which I think is the same thing as telepathy but in a more digital way. Brains are more analog so it works better.

After that is working, people would start to use it and it would spread quickly until everyone on Earth who wanted to learn telepathy and other mental abilities would learn to do it through the artificial intelligence network (Human AI Net) which I am planning. In my experience, it will have no effect on those who do not want to participate, but I expect that if enough people tried at the same time to access the thoughts of one who did not want to participate, it would work. I see society changing quickly in the last few years toward acting more like 1 system instead of 7 billion individuals. I see power shifting away from cental authorities and becoming more peer-to-peer (not just in computers, but in everything). But I also expect that a small fraction of those with a lot of power will refuse to let society change in those ways, and I expect they would use their power to destroy things and cause more global problems near the time such gradual changes in society would obsolete them. If we had enough people who could read minds, then those few people could not dodge accountability and hide behind government secrets. They would have to become less aggressive, unless it was really necessary, with such telepaths observing. For the purpose of avoiding World War 3, and to advance the way the Human species can communicate, we should create such bayesian psychology software to create a global telepathy network (which usually you can choose to join or not at any time, or any gradual level between).

After its up and running, you don't need the computers to keep it running, but they can be used to connect it to the internet through other kinds of artificial intelligence.

It will work because the Kolmogorov Complexity of the universe is 0, or as Max Tegmark says it: "All structures that exist mathematically exist also physically."

Also http://sourceforge.net/projects/humanainet  (Human AI Net) will be an Artificial General Intelligence (and a Friendly AI unless the core AI parts are designed wrong). The global telepathy network will only be a plugin for it. I separated the mad-science parts from the easier to understand parts. Do any of you mad-scientists want to help with any of this?

I'm not sure I understand this. Is there any retroelaboration you could apply to what you're trying to explain here?

Simple. Ok. Telepathy and other strange mental abilities have worked for all of recorded history, excluding those who made it up. I know from personal experience, including that recorded in the video, that such mental abilities work. For years I've tried to figure out why it works. What I wrote above is my best theory so far, but the theory of why it works is not necessary to make it work again. That part is simply to use well known artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms in a new way, to synchronize people's thoughts through psychology software and the internet, to automate the process of experimenting and updating the software, and for such process to continuously get better at synchronizing people's thoughts until the telepathy effect, which I already know works without any technology helping, starts on its own between the people using the software.

I wrote more about the physics of it athttp://spacecollective.org/Olena/6513/ESP-Mindcomputing-pseudoscience

Continuing this paragraph... "The uncertainty principle is about what you can't know about particles/waves in physics, like the patterns of electrons in somebody elses brain thousands of miles away. If ESP occurs between your brain and that brain thousands of miles away, and it happens often enough to know it wasn't random or an accident, then the patterns between the 2 brains are more accurate and reliable than the uncertainty principle says can happen." ...

Uncertainty principle and ESP do not contradict each other if infinitely manyworlds multiverse theory is true, since that would generate gravity-for-patterns (where patterns are like shapes outside of space, time, mass, and energy) instead of just gravity for mass, and the patterns in the 2 brains would find a path between each other through the multiverse. Gravity-for-patterns is simply the effect of there being an infinite number of ways to simulate any specific reality, and to simulate the simulation, recursing to infinite depth, and all cancelling out if observed together. Whichever part of all infinite possibilities matches reality more would become more probable, therefore whatever patterns were in such reality would become more probable to happen again which I call the gravity-for-patterns force. I don't think Uncertainty Principle is incompatible with ESP, but for both to exist there has to be gravity-for-patterns. Somebody should check to see if quantum-gravity is equal to gravity-for-patterns, because they have no explanation for it so far.

Continuing this post http://spacecollective.org/Olena/6513/comment6571  ... Since the laws-of-physics are only a pattern thats been repeated until it became extremely strong, the laws-of-physics can be rotated like any other shape or pattern. If a bayesian network is used to influence brains which are used to influence gravity-for-patterns (like Tesla's "earthquake machine" but for vibrating the near parts of the multiverse instead of vibrating buildings), then patterns can be built on top of patterns... eventually rotating the laws-of-physics (only near you, not everywhere) enough to create a warp field (a part of space and time where the average of all possibilities is moving forward faster than light). It shouldn't take much energy because its about the patterns building up (like Tesla's "earthquake machine") instead of pushing in 1 direction until it works (which would take infinite energy... really inefficient). Unlike Tesla's "earthquake machine", the effects should increase exponentially (starting too small to notice and doubling repeatedly) until it works or until your system for doing this is destroyed by its own inaccuracy. In other words, this is how to build a warp drive that runs on vacuum energy (also called zero point energy).

The global telepathy network is a series of experiments that lead to advanced things like that.

I wouldn't want any military to learn how to do that, but its not a problem because of how they force people in their organization to think... in a hierarchy way instead of a peer-to-peer way. Hierarchies are like "pushing in 1 direction until it works", and that same way of thinking influences their technology designs. They try to control everything. They call it "security". That kind of technology design lacks the symmetry to make it work, so I'm not worried about militaries learning how to use it. Theoretically, the only limit to how much power it would generate is the accuracy and intelligence of the patterns you use, and militaries will never get as much from it as a small battery. They are too unbalanced.

A global telepathy network is the opposite. Its symmetric to many variations of itself in the multiverse. It doesn't push toward certain possible futures and against others nearly as much as hierarchy-like patterns do. That's why its 1 of the experiments I'm planning. It will generate such a gravity-for-patterns force strong enough to be measured for long enough to figure out how to build machines to do it.

Its a long sequence of experiments that leads to building starships. I expect the warp drive will be similar to programmable crystals, like a more accurate version of LCD screens (liquid crystal display) that is controlled by programmable lasers. Don't forget that the cheap watches people laugh at today would be called magic hundreds of years ago. Its purpose would be to grow crystals in multiverse directions and control them with the "patterns" described above.

Most people read "programmable crystals" and don't realize that technology has existed for a long time and costs almost nothing to build. They think the same thing about the other technology I described how to experiment with and eventually build. Its all cheap stuff.

    ARTIFICIAL PARAPSYCHOLOGY

I offer all software designs in this writing under GNU GPL open-source license version 2 or higher.

I define "artificial parapsychology" as the combination of artificial intelligence (AI), neuroscience, chaos theory, and parapsychology ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Parapsychology  ), as a bridge between software and whatever metaphysical things brains are connected to, or any machines similar enough to the relevant parts of brains ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quantum_mind  ) to access the same metaphysical things. Artificial parapsychology will be a new branch of science. Its parts have been researched, but I'm not aware of anyone who has put them together. The first and smallest goal of this "artificial parapsychology" research is to create telepathy between a few people and then a "global telepathy network", a psychic communication between billions of people simultaneously which gets stronger over time, and after that is working expand it to more advanced abilities like telekinesis (moving things with the mind, which I have done many times), starting from statistical psychology software to organize our subconscious thoughts through the internet. Artificial parapsychology is the next step of evolution of the Human species and technology. It could become a way to organize society, a power source, a way to create nanotechnology (the same way some psychic abilities can heal at the atomic level), and a way to rotate out the current statistical patterns called laws-of-physics and use the "Ultimate Ensemble" type of Multiverse ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Multiverse#Level_IV:_Ultimate_Ensemble  ) to rotate in a different laws-of-physics locally around a power source, like to create a warp field as a more advanced kind of telekinesis done by machines. Artificial parapsychology is the specific way Humans do psychic things, how machines could do those things, how Humans and machines could do them together organized through software and the Internet, and the many undiscovered parts of physics such research will lead to after we understand how psychic things work. Artificial parapsychology is the most efficient way I know to teach billions of people how to do telepathy, telekinesis, thinking things to affect events in subtle ways, and the other bizarre things I've learned to do sometimes (but not any time I want). Anyone can learn to do it, but most never try. Through artificial parapsychology, the learning will be much faster. Telekinesis to small objects sounds interesting but not useful, but it would be much stronger if billions of people, through the exponential chaos-theory skills brains normally use, and the mass of planets and stars etc, were not holding this reality the way it is, strengthing the laws-of-physics and the same patterns of reality that normally happen. If we automate parapsychology and get enough people using the system at once, the opposite exponential effect could happen, to reverse the mental force we put on this reality to keep ourselves trapped in this limited form of existence, and gradually start to have more advanced psychic abilities. In the universe overall, it is unusual to be in only 1 place, only 1 form of existence, at a time. A body is like a tool (evolved as Darwin said, but still usable as a tool, and its a 2-way communication), not somewhere you're supposed to be trapped. We will learn to use many tools at once, many kinds of tools, starting with artificial parapsychology. We can float around in a form more like consciousness. Its a skill most of us have forgotten as we became distracted with life on Earth, but artificial parapsychology is a tool we can use to re-learn it, and to learn many other things.

    How will people use it?
In this writing, I will explain how I think these areas of science can be combined and automated with software, to create a new kind of mind made of many computers and Human brains networked together through the internet, using the user-interfaces of realtime generated audio, mouse movements, mind-reading game controllers based on electricity on your head (Like Emotiv Epoc or OpenEEG), and/or any other devices connected to a normal computer. Many user-interfaces will be allowed, and they each are a list of floating-point numbers that change many times per second, like mouse movements are X and Y numbers that change whenever you move the mouse, or a mind-reading game controller is a list of electricity amounts on the skin of your head or a list of numbers derived from that in a software designed to interpret such electricity. Outputs include speakers which are a list of numbers oscillating between -1 and 1 representing each speaker amplitude 44100 times per second for 44.1 khz audio. Input and output are always vectors that change many times per second. That is how people interact with this system.

    Find your own evidence:
The evidence for AI, neuroscience, and chaos theory is well known. The evidence for parapsychology is highly disputed, and the scope of this writing does not include evidence for parapsychology, because most people already have an opinion on it and are unlikely to change that opinion, so instead I am writing this only for the people who were able to find their own evidence for parapsychology. Example: If you've ever, for no logical reason, known who was calling just before you picked up the phone, then that's your evidence for parapsychology. Example: The http://noosphere.princeton.edu  research about the connection between major world events and quantum number generators. Example: Some rare people, including myself, sometimes (but not whenever we want to) have the ability to move small things (like aluminum foil balanced on a needle) simply by thinking it, which is called telekinesis. Theres a video on youtube called "psi wheel in a box 2" of me doing that. Example: Most religious people think parapsychology exists sometimes or at least in some rare people described in their ancient books. I don't expect you to take these things as evidence, only to look for similar things in your experience so you know parapsychology is real.

The rest of this writing will assume the reader thinks parapsychology is real, and of course AI, neuroscience, and chaos-theory have been proven. Based on that, the next step is to figure out why these things work and combine them.

    Technical:
The technical details of how to build an artificial parapsychology software and/or hardware are almost the same as the technical details of my plans for my Audivolv and Human AI Net softwares for how they will evolve intelligent musical instruments, interactions of moving words on the screen through neural-network-like structures of text, and other things AI would normally be used for. Mostly it will be an interaction of realtime generated music with mouse movements, as the user-interface. The core of that planned design is to evolve data-structures as arrays inside arrays inside arrays... with cycles representing networks of nodes with cycles, and to define the sizes of such arrays in terms of sizes of other arrays in the same node in terms of EQUAL (Example: neural node has same number of child nodes and weights), MULTIPLY, POWER (Example: bayesian node has exponentially more weights than childs), CONSTANTRANGE, or recursions of such array alignments as bigger arrays, and to evolve strongly-typed code that uses those evolved data-structures, and to evolve statistically-typed code and data on top of the strongly-typed system. Artificial parapsychology has never been done in a way as interactive as I'm planning or with this much direct connection to artificial intelligence and is very speculative, but I have my reasons for thinking it will work, and it will be built on a well defined AI system.

    Possible design:
The "list of floating-point numbers that change many times per second" for each person can be used as chances in a bayesian network. Bayesian networks are designed to find what causes what else when given many examples of chances for different things, but they do not understand the "different things" as more than variable names. Build a software to find small patterns between these numbers between many people using the software through the internet, and adjust the bayesian network to amplify those patterns. The people will have no direct interaction with other people. They will simply notice the realtime interactive music changing when they do the same mouse movements which will cause them to move the mouse a little differently. The mouse movements are 2 of the bayesian chance numbers. That forms feedback loops between many people across the internet, through them hearing the realtime interactive music and their mouse movements. If this generates artificial parapsychology, then the people will start flowing their thoughts together, at first just through the internet through this subtle music/mouse psychology software, and later through the way psychic abilities normally work between people. The artificial part means artificial intelligence, not just people, will have access to these psychic communications between people.

    Possible design:
The "list of floating-point numbers that change many times per second" for each person can be used as a probability balancing feedback-loop between 1 person and 1 computer, between their mouse movements and the AI's response of realtime interactive music. The goal is to put the person into a very balanced state of mind, so all possible thoughts are equally probable to happen next. Max Tegmark, writer of the specific Multiverse theory I think is true (Ultimate Ensemble), also writes that quantum superposition does not last nearly long enough for a superpositioned electron wave to travel between 2 neurons (brain cells), but he wrote that about how brains normally think, not in a very balanced state of mind where uncertainty of which thought will come next is maximized. Using AI, recursively balance the chance of the next thoughts, and the next thoughts after that, and so on, but only statistically instead of by knowing what the thoughts mean. It can be done statistically by using each person's "list of floating-point numbers that change many times per second" as numbers to be influenced toward center position through the subtle psychology of interactive music (to the person) interacting with that list of numbers (from the person).

    Possible design:
Schrodingers Network Router is a software I'm planning which will do any of the other technical designs but over the internet using the timing of network communications as some of the "list of floating-point numbers that change many times per second". Quantum physics says UDP packets (the kind that depends the least on other simultanous network communications) going across a network wire take much too long to stay in superposition and use the Schrodingers Cat effect, but that does not mean it can not become superpositioned again when it stops being observed in the wire. In all such quantum tests, it was observed around the same time. There has never been a large scale test of quantum physics to see if it can recursively branch and re-branch over a large area, to see if you branch it enough times you eventually get both versions of Schrodingers Cat interfering with each other in subtle ways through the multiverse. This is about patterns of information through the internet instead of a cat, but the idea is the same.

    Possible design:
At each node in a network, run an AI. Each node receives a 1 or a 0 in each communication from other nodes. It uses AI to choose to invert the bit or not. It uses AI to choose which node, of its few nodes that do not change often, to send the next communication to. It may also send some evolving code with the bit, to be combined with whatever evolving code the next nodes have. Such evolving code may modify the way the AI chooses to invert bits or not and chooses nodes to send to next. Each node has a goal ratio of 1s to 0s which its AI tries to accomplish by whatever choices it gets to make (described above). By sending data that changes such goal ratios, through the network recursively, the multiverse can be blurred in some places, sharpened in other places, stretched and tightened, influenced toward statistically selected possibilities.

    Possible design:
Chaos-theory through LCD screens, tesla coils in those glass spheres, and other devices, interacting indirectly with the chaos-theory of brains, while people looking at such devices and centering their thoughts causes patterns in the electricity of such devices, patterns which are so small they would not normally be noticed, but artificial intelligence will find such small patterns and amplify them.

    Possible design:
In the "How Human Intelligence Works" text file, Human intelligence is explained as using sparse grids made of many example experiences, aligning onto the dimensions of the grids recursively into more grids and dimensions, and directed-networks where nodes are ideas or wildcards, and a 2 dimensional visual grid, and a 2 dimensional (tone and time) sound grid, and a 3 dimensional plus 1 dimension (for time) main grid, and operating from the root goal of recursively avoiding memories of pain and working toward memories of pleasure. Human minds normally think in terms of fractals, in the way that a directed-network with cycles is a fractal, and a directed-network without cycles is a hierarchy/tree. That is half of Human intelligence. If the other half of Human intelligence is evolved (using my Human AI Net and Audivolv softwares, for example) as variations of code where data is a complex type of neural network (N numbers per node and M numbers per edge, each modifiable by evolved code), then through the "list of floating-point numbers that change many times per second", many Human minds could be networked together through the internet in a way similar to how they already think.

    Possible design:
In my experience, a few times in the year 2002, small parts of reality would change, like a certain book would stop having page numbers on the left pages (but still on the right pages), and later that same book would have page numbers, which I accidentally caused by trying the "assemblage point" thing described in "Carlos Castaneda: The Art Of Dreaming" (which was the book that changed page numbers). I think that works the same way Schrodingers Cat works, and that its 2 variations of the same book in 2 parallel realities which flow continuously together but people normally don't notice it because they doubt their memory when their memory finds such a contradiction. I've done too many bizarre psychic things to be able to doubt that so easily, when it happened a few times with different objects. The point is parallel realities are real, like in "Ultimate Ensemble" Multiverse theory, and there must be a way to interact with them. In the context of the "How Human Intelligence Works" text file, there must be a way Human brains can figure out if they moved to a slightly different parallel reality, because if they couldn't figure it out then their memory would be changed the same way the past was changed where the book was printed without page numbers on the left. But since my brain could see those few small changes, there must be something about brains which allows them to notice such things. Brains work mostly the same way in all parts of the brain, so whatever works for the whole brain will have much similarity to smaller parts of the same brain. That means we're looking for a fractal behavior of brains, something that works on small and big scales the same way. Therefore we're looking for a way a group of neurons can statistically detect if it has moved to a parallel reality in a parallel brain (also your brain, a different version of you in the same place) so its environment (other neurons) would appear to act differently than they had in the memory of the "group of neurons". If "Ultimate Ensemble" Multiverse theory is true, then everything could move between slight variations of reality (parallel realities) all the time in continuous motions we usually wouldn't notice. My plan is to evolve a fractal neural-network-like algorithm, to be a user-interface between many people through the internet in the Human AI Net and Audivolv softwares, to give our subconscious minds access to such small movements through the multiverse, to observe and influence the multiverse by what we think and how we use the artificial parapsychology software.

    How to combine all that:
It sounds complex, but its all 1 system. You can download the early versions and design documents of various modules at http://sourceforge.net/users/benrayfield  It will be a jar file that you double-click to run and it just works,
a Java program containing a realtime Java compiler for adding new parts to itself,
with API for permutations of function objects and their parts,
where functions apply to simple data structures made of arrays containing arrays containing arrays... with cycles,
which can be used to evolve variations of neural nets, bayesian nets, or any type of network data structure and evolved code that uses it.
It will be a very general system for evolving data structures and evolving code that operates on them.
One of the simpler uses of it would be to evolve variations of a neural net by putting N numbers in each node and M numbers
in each edge between nodes, and evolving a function that takes N+M+N floating point parameters (and weighted-average modifies them) and runs on each pair of connected nodes once per run of the evolved network. Actual evolved data structures will be much more complex.
I don't have to hard-code most of the AI algorithms into it. I'll just define what behaviors I want the AI to have and evolve the AI gradually toward that. I'll write some of what I wrote in the "How Human Intelligence Works" text file and the designs above, in math, and have it evolve some code and data structures to do that. Thousands of people download the jar file, double-click it, move their mouse to play intelligent interactive music, click the "Enable Artificial Parapsychology (possible telepathy, telekinesis, etc)" checkbox, and the "global telepathy network" boots up automatically. Then we don't need the software to keep the "global telepathy network" running, but we can continue to use the software to connect it to the Internet. That, or something like it, is the next step in Human evolution, and its free and open-source (GNU GPL 2+) for everyone, but I could use some help designing and building it.
