Smartest thing anyone has ever said

    "I don't know"

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/I_know_that_I_know_nothing

I know that I know nothing and from that I start to know one thing. Whatever follows is real knowledge. Whatever follows from a combination of that and empirical observation is bounded within statistical constraints of certainty. This does not include empirical observation allegedly done by others which you can't bound within statistical constraints of their honesty, skill, and their accurate use of "I don't know" in their experiments.

This is not how the Human species has organized things globally, therefore the system crashes, is replaced, or some combination.
