    Privacy
There are only 3 reasons people want privacy:

    (1) Insanity, or
    (2) You do something wrong, or
    (3) Others do something wrong.

"(1) Insanity": We inherited various insanities from the ancestors of Monkeys. Dog's proudly pee on trees and other things to mark their territory. Humans and Monkeys do that in private, and normally pile it onto the same place others do so we don't step in it later, for practical reasons. It may infect others, so evolution pushed a desire for privacy. But to put someone in jail for peeing in public is insane. Almost nobody cares if dogs do it, and its basically the same thing. Almost nobody cares that animals walk around naked.

"(2) You do something wrong": Obviously most of those who hate, use deception, etc will want to hide much of it. Wrong and illegal are 2 different things. Not much explanation needed here.

"(3) Others do something wrong": Many people say "If you're not doing anything wrong, you've got nothing to hide." That's not true. If nobody does anything wrong or insane, then you've got nothing to hide. People conspire to disadvantage you for many things you may do, like being born far away, even if those things are not wrong. If you think and act as you think you should, then there is no reason to be disgusted or embarrassed about what you are, but most people are, and its for the wrong reason: Others conspire to disadvantage you if they know certain things. It may be as small as talking junk about you behind your back, or it may be attacks on your freedom or life or on people you know.

Those are the only 3 reasons anyone ever wants privacy, 3 categories in which all other reasons fit.

I think that its bad for human being to be restricted due to shame and sensitivity to their audience. I think that I would not be able to sleep or work if it were noisy, so I would like privacy in that respect.
