sjefFri, Sep 26, 2008 What would you like to see in a magazine?
- Writing that aims to intelligently explore subject matter, not just skim it for some lowest common denominator demographic.
- A sense of humor.
- Coupons.
- A distinct lack of bad design.
What would make you pick it up, save it, and keep your eye out for the next issue?
- Pick it up > The cover.
- Save it > The content.
What would set a new magazine apart in your eyes from the rest of the drivel currently out there?
- See answer to q1.
Which—if any—magazines do you currently appreciate, and why?
Anything with design work worth keeping or content worth reading.
That said, I hardly ever buy magazines.
Would you possibly be willing to contribute your talent (writing, art, design, music, etc) on a one-time or ongoing basis to such a publication?
Sure.
Without monetary compensation?
Depends. (on you know, stuff.)
