    It is incredible how something like this exists.

    you know-we are a bright generation. trying to make use of and hold onto technology and the internet. Sometimes i ask myself why, is this good? (whats good and bad..etc)

    we all want to change the world. be better. be remembered. but how do we create REAL conscious and social change???

    this is almost propaganda. we type on a computer and hide behind these screens and talk about all these amazing things we want to do and the bad in our society-but its no use of anything. its just dead, typed words being exchanged. we are being led to only communicate in mass online virtual, synthetic, non applicable, not real.

    its scary

    its getting harder for us to unite -i dont know if we still really can make REAL CHANGE.

    The geek behind a screen image may be frightening you, but without normal citizens having this technology criminals would be faster than us at breaking the world and taking away our liberty to remain the chains that hold it together.

    Its not just words. The best ideas at SpaceCollective will have some real effects. How? I try to cause real changes by building unusual kinds of software that let people interact with other people and/or artificial intelligences in ways they've never thought of before. Compared to how far I have to go, I'm just getting started, but I expect to finish. Like myself, some of the people at SpaceCollective create new things that can have the effects you're looking for, so indirectly just writing something here, and us reading it, could have real effects globally. Or maybe you'd like to help more directly with such research? My open-source softwares are linked from my SpaceCollective page.

    don't you believe in the power of the exchange of dead words? I could quote some books full of them that had been making massive REAL CHANGE for millenia ^_^

    I agree my post is also "dead, typed words" and that such communication is powerful, but its only powerful if it motivates enough people to do more than communicate. For example, many people talk about changing the USA government, but I've only seen that lead to changes in voting instead of fixing the real problems which are caused mostly by the average people. Going from communication spreading to somebody causing real changes is hard, and most times it stays at communication, unless you know very accurately what to say and who to say it to.

    Its not the people that need to change the US Government. We need to change ourselves and then unite-come together. .... I could go on and on. But I kinda dont want space collective to be cluttered with 21st century frustrations about the US government-for which there is alot. I dont want struggle and impurities in our system to be remembered.

    Actions speak louder than words. Words are silenced. They are misinterpreted. Who REALLY knows/understands what your point is?

    REAL change. What is real?? And change-you change all the time. you morph into what you want to be, to what others want. were a product of our environment.

    I dont want struggle and impurities in our system to be remembered.

    They must be remembered. They have been forgotten and that's part of the reason why people have become so apathetic about acting and doing something, ie: against our gov't. In my opinion, people have forgotten the why and what of the Revolutionary War. If they did remember, then wouldn't they see that history is repeating itself?

    People are the ones that need to enact change, but that cannot be done unless people change themselves and the way they view others and the world.

    Actions do speak louder than words but both can be a means to self-discipline and personal change. It just depends on how that individual is "wired".
