    Bonobos, besides being amazing in and of themselves, are the greatest challenge to humanity's self perception and image collective, read the reference by Frans B. M. de Waal, Bonobo Sex and Society (The behavior of a close relative challenges assumptions about male supremacy in human evolution)
    great creatures and maybe, just maybe, manifesting an evolutionary advantage

    I'm particularly fascinated by the fact that these primates are challenging everything we thought we knew of sex and the nature of how we evolved as a species.

    Also, not to be crass, but I love how their society is so harmonious . Could it be from their sexual practices? Maybe we all need to get laid more.....
