Comment on On Global Awareness

I think Art does have that ability, but for that inside transformation to take place it requires more than just seeing a picture, hearing a song or reading a poem to make the lightning strike, though I can't rule out that it hasn't happened for some. I assume most folks here would agree that their "awareness" has only arisen after some extended period of time of pouring effort into themselves. Right now I think humanity's time is limited.

Maybe a better question to ask is: how can we bring about this awareness in a short enough period of time so that we can institute the change sooner rather than later?

Maybe someone can create music that triggers some resonance between our brain waves and those of our Earth or universe thereby promoting direct enlightenment. Now that would be awesome.

Though it saddens me to see our coral reefs and rain forests disappear in front of our eyes, I know that long after humans are dead and gone Earth will still be around, revitalizing itself, flourishing with all sorts of brilliant, new life. My concern is not so much protecting our current natural habitats as it is protecting the most advanced forms of life on Earth...us. But in doing so we are not only providing ourselves with a better life, but we are also saving the rest of the planet.
