There is a pleasure in the pathless woods, There is a rapture on the lonely shore, There is society, where none intrudes, By the deep sea, and music in its roar: I love not man the less, but Nature more. ---Lord Byron

Uncle Sam Wants YOU...to Live in Fear
We are never as free as we once were at the moment of our birth. We enter this world with no perception, no intention, knowing nothing but only being. As we grow older and perceive the world, we subconsciously create a foundation of truths on which our minds can grow. But what if some of these truths, which we have come to undoubtedly accept, are anything but the truth? What if our minds are being unknowingly programmed to not see the truth? This truth can be interpreted in many ways, some people may associate it with the meaning of life, how to live, the nature of God, Nature and the Universe, etc, but another truth that is almost always overlooked is the holistic nature of control in our world and its effect on our innate freedom. I'm writing this because what I once blindly believed, I began to question, and I found an obvious truth that is hidden right in front of our eyes. I'd like to share it because I believe the consequences of maintaing an "ignorance is bliss" attitude, whether purposefully or not, is detrimental to the well being of the individual and society.

I find the way government rules to be completely illogical. The needs of the people can never be completely met, but shouldn't they be maximized? In the US, a country that supposedly governs as a democracy, utterly fails to maximize the benefit of all of its citizens, the people that allow the government to exist. Wouldn't the world be a much better place if more power was in the hands of individuals and not in a select few who may have an entirely different vision on how life can and should be lived? If smaller, more efficient sovereign states existed, the people within these small governmental organizations would be more willing to vote and play a part in society because decisions and laws would have a greater impact on them and their neighbors. A state on the East Coast would have a completely different want and need than a state on the West Coast. Government would be more personalized by the people to better serve the people. Empowering the people would the smartest thing a country could do to increase its economic integrity, level of happiness and better every aspect of the people's lives. But instead this seems to be avoided and it becomes even more of an extreme scenario. About one-third of the US population votes. And certainly less than 50% of those 100 million people get to have a president or representative that shares the same beliefs and values. How is this a good way to govern? How could this possibly be in the best interest of anyone but the small minority and the people who govern? If the federal government was limited and State's rights were the only precedent, wouldn't we be able to better maximize people's needs and wants based on geography, demographics, resources, values and beliefs? I believe that this is what the Founding Fathers of US dreamed of (granted, times have changed, but the principles still stand.) The scary thing is that there is a hidden agenda that limits the empowerment of the people. The problem is that people don't realize this and it's because of a system of control that they don't. Let me further explain…

Control is being fearful. In this worldwide system, control is a means to an unfortunate end, or at least a severe reduction in the potential for true happiness, for everyone but the ones who do the controlling. You can call these controllers the Illuminati, bankers, politicians, whatever you want to,(I prefer "the powers that be") but we cannot ignore the fact that there is a system of control with a seemingly evil goal of preventing the human race from unifying and creating a world of peace, love and happiness. How and why is it that people seem to become more and more divided? Neighbors, citizens, cities, countries and cultures are at the throats of their so-called enemies. But how and why have enemies emerged? It is mostly because the government and the media drill into our heads fabrications of threat, fear and prejudice. For example, our government claims that we need to end racism and join hands, but they are the biggest proponents of racism! Stop dividing people into classes and minorities. Stop referring to people as black or white. Stop contributing to a system that you claim to be against! WE ARE ALL HUMAN! The problem is so obvious! You would think that our politicians, really intelligent people, would know better… So, either they are really, really incompetent OR it's all part of a greater plan. The fact that these politicians continue to increase the size of government, leaving citizens more and more undervalued, increase their own salaries and only empower themselves, I believe, can be directly attributed to this hidden system of control with a goal of dividing everyone for an even greater plan; perhaps a new world order…? Over the past several decades this has had a significant effect on how we live and behave. An unnatural mindset has been created and people have grown into this global mindset since birth. And, unfortunately, much of what these people grow up to do in life helps prolong and enforce this corrupt system. I don't blame them, but I don't pity them because I know they are capable of realization. It is just much more difficult to change a person's worldview the older they are. How can we get people to realize the big picture and this scourge?

Government is the middleman between "the powers that be" and the people. Government is an accepted institution that can initiate fear and control. But how has this system emerged throughout countries all over the world? It's not a coincidence… There is an intricate system that has intentionally evolved (more believably) over at least a few hundred years, starting with the emergence of the European banking industry, to maintain control over nations with money and therefore over the people. I highly suggest taking a look at the history of the banking industry that started in Europe in the mid-1700s. Because of the wealth generated from loaning money to royal organizations, debt was able to be created, thereby forcing the rulers of these countries to their knees at the feet of the bankers. There is well-documented accounts of these transactions and happenings of this time period (don't expect to see them on any main stream media though.) One of the originators of this scheme was Mayer Amschel Rothschild, who stated,
Let me issue and control a nation's money and I care not who writes the laws.
One of his many sons, Nathan, said in 1815,
I care not what puppet is placed upon the throne of England to rule the Empire on which the sun never sets. The man who controls Britain's money supply controls the British Empire, and I control the British money supply.

Eventually these people and their agenda spread to the United States. There were many presidents who strove to fight against this foreign enemy threat to preserve natural born rights. On his deathbed and when asked what his greatest achievement was, President Andrew Jackson said,
    I killed The Bank.
And in 1865, President Abraham Lincoln spoke in front of Congress,
I have two great enemies, the Southern Army in front of me, and the financial institutions in the rear. Of the two, the one in my rear is my greatest foe.
Unfortunately, the bankers, with untold international power, eventually overcame the greatest nation on Earth, and on December 23, 1913, the Federal Reserve Act was signed, forcing all Americans into monetary slavery.

Over the past century, greater control has been gained by the government puppets and the monetary overlords. With better technology and means of communication, false information has been broadcast to "teach" us. Sadly, the information we are taught is very skewed and biased. The media giants, owned and controlled by these bankers, have been able to grab our attention with mindless entertainment and fear mongering to hold our minds and hearts while they transform our country without us knowing or actually giving a damn. Television, sporting events, video games and other mindless activities, all products of this system, generate distorted emotion within us to keep us hooked, in feuds and distant from real life. Apathy has taken a hold of us. We no longer realize the influence and power a single person can have. We must take up the responsibility of empowering others, allowing them to see past the charming faces of politicians and celebrities. People need to learn how to think for themselves, always question why certain things are being told to them and not trust someone because of their high status and important responsibilities. It's not ours or our parents' fault that this usurping has happened, but it is our fault for letting it continue. How can it be stopped? There is much hope in the future with the age of connectedness. Information is widely available all over the web. Anyone can find and read alternative news to better educate themselves, make conclusions about life, people, decisions and the things that affect how they live. More people will come to understand the significance of personal development and also to realize that it's their job to elect the right people into office so that the rights of the individual can be maintained. Hopefully, this hidden agenda will be exposed to the masses and revolution will ensue.

But there is also a major problem that we face now and will encounter even more in the near future. Government regulation of online media and news would be the largest setback we could encounter. It is clear that the physical boundaries that divide each one of us into our individual countries and cities is being overcome by the interconnectedness of the internet. Our ideas, cultures and beliefs are being shared regardless of one's location on Earth. People are learning more and more everyday than they ever could the day before. Regulation of these benefits would be a creation of nonphysical boundaries in an interface designed to be without barriers. Information, knowledge and ideas that could be shared and which would help to unify people from around the world would be inhibited. That cannot happen. We cannot let it happen…

The FCC is looking to start Internet regulations. It may look like it's not a bad thing at first, but once the government get's their foot into the door there is no stopping them from prying it open. Eventually, we will see regulation of what we can actually access and read online. There could be monthly fees for accessing any number of websites, including any MSM, Facebook and YouTube. Innovation will go out the window, and what is the last free domain on this Earth will no longer exist. Our right for knowledge and to learn is being taken away.

The government wants to trade more of our liberties for security. Homegrown terrorism is a threat, but even if it's from people like you and me who are protesting against the government. The point of the 2nd Amendment, "the RIght to Bear Arms" is to make sure the government remains the servant of the people and not the other way around. When the government gets out of hand, the people need to have a means of reestablishing freedom.

What really gets me is how terrorism is such a threat to the American people, while at the same time, smoking kills over 440,000 Americans a year (not to mention so may other deaths that could be reduced with government assistance), because of a product that the US gov't hugely profits off of. Do you still think that the government has the people's best interest in mind?
