    If you like Dalí then you might want to check out "Un Chien Andalou" (1928).

    It is a 16 minute surrealist film co-written/directed by Salvador Dalí and Luis Buñuel.

    I guarantee it'll be one of the most... interesting short films you'll ever see. =)

    It's supposed to be an amazing show. Also good at LACMA right now is a SoCal art exhibit, a review of work from the 60's and 70's. It includes one of my favorites from Ed Kienholz, called Back Seat Dodge '38. It's hard to see what the controversy was all about, but it got pulled from exhibition for years apparently too obscene for public consumption... something about the wire mannequins (visible below) being pornographic. Strange to think about how drastically moral codes can change over just a few years.
