Think about it...
A whole other race, evolving on a different planet with its own customs, completely different type of language and grammar system, differently biology, thought process... do they have feelings?
Can they feel emotion?
Can they think at a more accelerated rate than we.. or do they think slower?
Have they ever had war, as humans see it?
Can they adapt to dynamic situations?
Do they see human beings as inferior?
Do they have a closer bond with nature and the ways of the universe?
Do they worry about superficial issues?
Do they feel pain?
This is just food for thought as we go towards....

BAM.
Extraterrestrial Beings have been visiting our planet without a doubt over the past centuries, even before (I'm sure) humans have even made their mark on this Earth. Watching us inquistively to see how —> We, human beings <— have managed to survive and come about on this planet.
Do I believe this is science fiction? No, I believe it's very real and they stay out of the public eye (with help from those who wish for their presence not to be known).
Aside from this other food for thought...
Say our government and others finally lighten up, accept the inevitable and that we actually have a group of scientists and some type of public relations group meet formally with races of other planets and enter into a certain type of pact to learn from each other and possibly even trade necessities.
How do we adapt to that?
I'm sure it'd be quite frightening to most of the human population no matter how positive it would be. A whole other race(s), far superior in contact with us, providing us maybe some truths about the universe and withholding others so that we can still learn for ourselves.
Frightening though because it'd be such a huge impact on our daily lives.. something most have shunned or ridiculed has now become reality.
Aliens. E.T. Some majestic from the heavens that.. before, we could barely conceive or even CARE to give thought to.
What are your thoughts?
How would we adapt? Go crazy, reject neighbors and keep to ourselves?...
Or do we open up, as a whole population and welcome a greater chapter in the human evolutionary chain. Learn there's more to the universe than we, at this point in modern science, could ever imagine.
What do you think?
(You can go with aliens don't exist too lol)
