Synaesthetic MetaGlyph (003)
This is a preliminary introduction to the Synesthetic MetaGlyph (SMG) series. SMG-003 is a geometric composite representation of three fundamental primary mythemes: the monomyth (the "hero's return" or "eternal return"), combined with the vertical and horizontal axis of the "axis mundi", and the "origin" (central point). Here, pure archetypal (and the corresponding mythical) conceptual notions are applied to direct geometric formulation by trigonometric function in space and time (motion). Associations to the Ouroboros and the torus are also evident.
This SMG is a primary component in the construction of a paralanguage set for describing ontological and semantic interactive spaces.
