Neogrid and Hixgrid - The Science Network
Project: Polytopia

Neogrid e.V. is a german a non-profit association and runs an independent encyclopedia on information technology. Neogrid provides information on IT and computer science as well as computer art. A fault-tolerant search facility is implemented on the website of Neogrid.

Neogrid supports e-learning and the process of learning in the computer science discipline for IT professionals and interested people or students.

The Grid is an intelligent internet of the future: it will be possible to compute complex search requests with new dynamic generated content. Neogrid has implemented in a first step a fault-tolerant search and will do some efforts to improve the intelligent search process.

We are interested in scientific research and results and develop a Science Network. As developers of the Generationsgame, we will link this holistic network to the Hixgrid, a science platform to link scientists, knowledge worker and interested people

Hixgrid will start in December 2010 and invites all knowledge workers of all disciplines.

Privacy Policy

Information Collection and Use by SpaceCollective.org
SpaceCollective.org collects user submitted information such as name and email address to authenticate users and to send notifications to those users relating to the SpaceCollective.org service. SpaceCollective.org also collects other profile data including but not limited to: gender and age in order to assist users in finding and communicating with each other.

SpaceCollective.org also logs non-personally-identifiable information including IP address, profile information, aggregate user data, and browser type, from users and visitors to the site. This data is used to manage the Website, track usage and improve the Website services. User IP addresses are recorded for security and monitoring purposes.

User Profile information including members' pictures and first names are displayed to people in order to facilitate user interaction with the SpaceCollective.org service. Email addresses are used to send notifications related to the service. Email addresses are not shared or displayed to people within a user's personal network or anywhere else on the website. Users within a personal network communicate on SpaceCollective.org with each other through the SpaceCollective.org service, without disclosing their email addresses.

To facilitate the connection between members on the service, SpaceCollective.org allows users to search for other members using display names. We may also use a user's email address to send updates or news regarding the service.

SpaceCollective.org uses cookies to store visitors' preferences and to record session information for many purposes, including ensuring that visitors are not repeatedly offered the same Web page content based on browser type and user profile information. We do not link the information we store in cookies to any personally identifiable information you submit while on our site. Changes in Our Privacy Policy
From time to time we may make changes to our privacy policy.
