Wow, haven't posted anything in a while. Have so much catching up to do! Here's an article I hope you will all find interesting and informative and helpful in some way.

I was watching a bunch of ants working together, collecting food between the cracks of the sidewalk, and I thought to myself, these creatures are like the video I posted a few weeks ago, about ants acting like fluids. And I thought to myself, we, humans, don't act like this, do we? Do we act like lesser elements, like particles bumping into each other and forming little groups, and forming atoms? Will society ever rise up in the ranks of formation and cooperation, and form elements like Hydrogen and Oxygen and form an ocean of water?

    What do you think?

I read this article below about cities being an organism, a step above biology. That we are, with our technologies, creating a new species but what exactly would it be? Are city states and welfare states and school systems, and corporations like Coca Cola, or my employer World Wrestling Entertainment, a new type of superorganism?

This might sound ridiculous but I've walked through my building that is a Television Studio, and thought of the layout. On the bottom floor, we have a bunch of hallways that pretty much channel throughout the building, like the muscles in our bodies. Along the top corner of the walls are wires, dozens of bundles of them that are like nerves. The "nerves" lead to the center of the building, which is called Master Control. Master Control is like the heart of the building, where tapes and satellite feeds converge into this one room and television shows and production is "fed" into and out from other external (environmental) locations. The tapes and digital file transfers are like cells and genes, packed with information that Master Control takes in, and then the information is sent to the Edit Rooms, where the show is put together and fine tuned. Also, throughout the building we have pipes and cables that resemble veins and intestines. The rest of the lower floor has other departments. The Television Graphics department (where I work) is where visual art is created, like decorations that an organism would have - hair or fur or eye or skin color - and other aesthetics like clothing and necklaces and other accessories; these are created from the "Mind(s)" decision, which I'll get to in a moment. Other departments like the Music section where songs and music is played and recorded mimic the sounds of animals that communicate for serenading and beauty. There are audio rooms where sounds are created like tidbits of subjective noises like clicks and chirps and squeaks. There are edit rooms where the shows are put together, and the whole package is presented, the whole organism finalized, compiled from all the work mentioned above.

On the second floor, and the highest floor in my building (but much higher in other corporations), are the brains of the show, the minds that make all of the decisions.

This is what I thought and think about while wandering the halls of my workplace. I think we are mimicking parts of our body, to make a larger organism, one that can survive for the benefit of our species and beyond. After all, isn't life a reflection of itself? We are reverse engineering life and rebuilding it on scales that nature wouldn't have time to do? I do have an overactive imagination, but, what do you all think?

Really interesting article from dailygalaxy.com about research being done to reopen sensory biology in humans, and sensing the magnetic field, as birds do during migration, as well as other animals utilizing this ability.

I've attached an article from Physorg.com that talks about the fire ants as a super organism. I hope I embedded the video correctly, but I added the youtube vid below again. It's an amazing video on how ants work together and mimic the movement of fluids. Beautiful simply describes it.

Hello everyone. I just read the attached article that is a couple of years old. A good friend emailed me the article. We talked at lengths about the idea of interconnectedness, and although we as individuals feel like separate elements we are actually connected to the universe in some kind of cosmic hologram, a projection we "see" because of how we are hardwired. Now I'm not one to get into metaphysics, but would you all consider this topic metaphysical? Do you think there is a force we are blind to, the Elan Vital that is connected to consciousness and all matter?

Do you believe what John Wheeler said in his quote I added below:

"I do take 100 percent seriously the idea that the world is a figment of the imagination."

So below is the link to the older article.

Hello all. I've been a member on SpaceCollective.org for some time now but haven't participated or introduced myself until now. I really like the content of this site. It activates the mental fluids and charges ones self, and I think sites like this, that deal with collective thought and consciousness, should be more common place and people should participate more.

My name is Dion. I live in Connecticut, have all my life. I'm currently a Television Graphic Artist, but not entirely sure I want to be in this field of work for much longer. Not entirely sure where I fit, what niche, I can occupy in this existence. I've got a lot of thinking to do.

I'm no scientist, and my logic and mathematical mind are near non-existent but I try to consider my creativity as my strength. I've read and read a lot of scientific material, from Richard Dawkin's Selfish Gene to Gordon Kane's Supersymmetry to James Gardner's The Intelligent Universe. An important book I extremely admire is Frank Tipler's The Physics of Immortality, and the concept of the Omega Point Theory. It affected me so much that I have a personal website, Omegahype.com, revolving around some of my writings and just personal stuff (still need to add a lot more material). The idea behind the name Omegahype is Omega, being the forward goal of human consciousness in the future and Hype being an acronym for the phrase Human Yielded Potential Energy: basically we slow but ready to explode into a universe where life evolves towards a goal, possibly the Singularity as Ray Kurzweil has mentioned?

So in a nutshell, the above mentions are what I think of often.

I currently watched Through the Wormhole on the Science channel, and found the first episode, Is there Life after Death? My kind of series, truly awesome subject matter.

Well, I've talked enough. I hope to be as much of the enlightening process to others as I'm sure I'll achieve through all of you.

    Dion
