    Holographic Reality?
Hello everyone. I just read the attached article that is a couple of years old. A good friend emailed me the article. We talked at lengths about the idea of interconnectedness, and although we as individuals feel like separate elements we are actually connected to the universe in some kind of cosmic hologram, a projection we "see" because of how we are hardwired. Now I'm not one to get into metaphysics, but would you all consider this topic metaphysical? Do you think there is a force we are blind to, the Elan Vital that is connected to consciousness and all matter?

Do you believe what John Wheeler said in his quote I added below:

"I do take 100 percent seriously the idea that the world is a figment of the imagination."

So below is the link to the older article.

This was my response to my friend regarding this article:

The article is Ultra-Anthropocentric, I think therefore I am. It takes great leaps though, from Quantum to macromolecules. But once scientists, if they do, discover a GUT, Grand Unified Theory, that it will help mesh the separation of gravity with the other 3 forces. Once particles go a certain distance above the Planck scale, then gravity kicks in and the laws change. It's really interesting how everything is made up of particles that function under the random rules of quantum mechanics, even information, that "it from bit" or "it from qubit", but gravity has no effect on those particles. But, at some point gravity does. Maybe gravity really doesn't exist. Maybe gravity is actually the effects of a universal electromagnetic field. Just brainstorming here.

I've been tossing around the idea lately of awareness as a universal empty set. Kinda fun.

In mathematics, and more specifically set theory, the empty set is the unique set having no elements; its size is zero. Some axiomatic set theories assure that the empty set exists by including an axiom of empty set; in other theories, its existence can be deduced. Many possible properties of sets are trivially true for the empty set.

Very cool Pan, I don't know really anything about empty set theories, but I am looking into it now. Interesting how you are applying empty sets to universal awareness. Can you get into it a little more? Thanks again!
