Comment on what did Nikola Tesla know?

sjef Tue, May 6, 2008
I've read that autobiography before, it's interesting but can anyone comment on its authenticity?

(*edit - "Published 1919 in the Electrical Experimenter Magazine" - I guess that'll have to do)

The trouble with reading up on Tesla online, especially when trying to get anything on his more advanced/out there ideas, is that you hardly ever seem to be more than a few clicks away from Nazi flying saucers / perpetual motion scams / CIA mind control and a diverse selection of other paranoid delusional conspiracy or 'I want to believe' rubbish. It all makes for entertaining reading but the factual content is highly dubious at best and it doesn't do much for the credibility of anything around it.

Not that there aren't any good sources of information, there are several, but a lot of the people very hyped on Tesla seem to be completely out of their damn minds. Maybe it's all disinformation to hide the truth (that was sarcasm), but the lack of real documentation / actual verified information makes researching the guy pretty frustrating.
