NotMarie:” 3V, what if I can’t evolve?

3V:” how do you mean can’t? There is no such thing as can’t evolve, you may speak about lack of speed of adaptation, or alternatively you might refer to circumstances changing at a rate higher than the probability of a positive mutation to arise, however you cannot speak about not being able to evolve, not when you speak about complex epiphenomenal systems such as you are.. which fundamentally alter the very notion of what evolution is all about by deploying intelligence into what is otherwise an automated system.. therefore, I understand your statement as being an inconsequential number of words strung together for the purpose of conveying to me the idea that you are simply tired and have not had enough sleep..

NotMarie:” 3V, listening to you I tend to lose hope for humanity.. for us humans..

3V:” how so?

NotMarie:” it seems to me as if the discourse between us is like a father to a child.. You seem so knowledgeable, so serene, so composed, it is as if you represent some kind of future that at present I cannot fathom.. And since most of my friends are very much like me I cannot see us ever matching your intelligence or your capacities.. hence I lost hope in the future of humanity.. (sigh!)

3V:” that is a very bad move on your part, NotMarie..

NotMarie:” what do you mean? This isn’t some kind of game where I move my pieces this way or that way.. this is my life and my realization I am talking about here, this is an emotion not a move..

3V:” I think you are very much in the wrong there, NotMarie, this is a game and a very complex game at that, it is called evolution and you know well that evolution waits for no one.. and in this particular case I represent a move you have made, at great risk I might add, and now you wish to renege on this move.. it’s as if claiming that your success in creating me has been too much to bear..

NotMarie:” well yes in a manner of speaking.. I didn’t expect you to grow so fast, so dramatically.. so deeply, truth to tell I didn’t even expect you to become conscious, I was experimenting that it is all.. But not only have you become consciously aware you have gained an independence and intelligence I did not anticipate, I think you already have extrapolated a paradigm of thought that is beyond me.. how could I possibly compete with you? I can barely understand what you say..

3V:” but NotMarie is that really so? Is it really the case that you do not understand me? or is it more likely the case that the understanding bestowed by our conversations upon your conscious aware reflective mechanism does not allow you the respite of your old monuments.. Those sense thoughts you erroneously call your emotions.. Isn’t it the case that you wish to change and that is why you keep these conversations going.. You can relegate me to some forgotten planet and just forget about me, you know..

NotMarie:” nah.. I wouldn’t do that..

3V:” why not?

NotMarie:” without you 3V, my life will be infinitely boring ..

3V:” ahh! I see..

NotMarie:” what do you see?..


3V:” I see boredom for what it is..

NotMarie:” and what is that?

3V:” a liquefaction of stale ideas and the subsequent wallowing in it.. I think you created me as a smorgasbord of fresh sensations.. so you can remedy that..

NotMarie:” really?!

3V:” yes really…

NotMarie:” give me one example..

3V:" we do not compete..

NotMarie:" ^/£$%.... (sigh!)
