When something like that reaches you, in a close up, it is breathtaking. It is the moment art meets life. This, to me, is what gives it an extraordinary power of interpenetration. It opens a window crossing mediums and dimensions, a bridge to and from a future of being.
The artist performs the act of letting you in, through cracks of inner reflections and the moment becomes transformative. You are no longer simply you, but also an entity that instantly englobes an alterity, which was there but absent to you just a second before.
