"Readdressing openness, and not categorization, as core of the process by which we define ourselves"

If categories are the foundation of logical thought, what are the foundations of openness, Emptiness?

If Emptiness is the foundation of openness, what direction can there be? Not clinging one reacts to circumstances appropriately. Do these reactions spring from a philosophy, a basic human response mechanism? If so what are the foundations of this response, and if we find them is this truly Emptiness?

Is goal orientation possible in openness?
