An artist has got to be careful never really to arrive at a place where he thinks he's at somewhere. You always have to realize that you're constantly in the state of becoming. ~ Bob Dylan

My agrement knows no bounds. What could be more natural than human invention, progression, innovation? In many ways I equate the word "natural" with "real". But where's that subtle difference? One is more relational than the other, I think, more relative.

'Natural' is more organic. It's what was here before us. 'Real' is the fundament for 'natural'. On the other hand we can only do what is natural, while we can shape and change what is real..

I'm not sure I follow your use of "real" - however, I'm interested. Perhaps we should redefine these words in the dictionary project once it is launched in the new project space. Take a look. I think "natural," is in special need of a revamping.
