Now the next step would be to make a video player (maybe with live video capabilities too) that can make these changes in real time with some knobs and maybe sliders. Maybe it's a Processing project. Or maybe a screen saver that reads from a folder of user selected video clips.
The Carmageddon data-bend is interesting too and may be a good incentive for picking up outdated games when I'm at thrift stores.
I think it would be really cool to make this glitch video stuff in really high resolution like the new quicktime H.264 and maybe on dvd and hd-dvd.
