Zylon, poly(p-phenylene-2,6-benzobisoxazole), is a thermoset polyurethane synthetic polymer material, vaguely related to Kevlar & Nylon. It is extremely high strength, and is used in various applications, including tennis racquets, bulletproof vests and martian rovers.

A reflective gold or reddish brown color are characteristic of the fiber

The safety sheet for Zylon warns the one strand of the fiber can "severely cut or even sever fingers."

Zylon's Technical Information Sheet shows it's superior strength to both Aramid and Carbon (although test conditions were not specified).
