Project: Emergence and Navigating Space

Sometimes a simple process is enough to achieve a rich effect. Paper marbling is a technique I have been experimenting with for the last few days. Here are a few of my results. Along with those is a combo image of three (of the many) abstract artworks already on this site that connect, somehow, to the patterns of marbled paper. (bad scans will be upgraded)

Wow, thank you for sharing! I've been wanting to get into the paper marbling process too. Your results are so very vivid, I especially enjoyed the second one with its sparkling oozing reds, blues, and violets.

I love the pictures you have posted. I really like the first picture. It reminds me of a painting my mother had when I was a child. I used to stare at it on rainy days, and I would try to find faces and shapes in the swirls of color.

I also think the 3rd picture is beautiful. Not only is it full of green, it also reminds me of a squid.

Privacy Policy

Information Collection and Use by SpaceCollective.org
SpaceCollective.org collects user submitted information such as name and email address to authenticate users and to send notifications to those users relating to the SpaceCollective.org service. SpaceCollective.org also collects other profile data including but not limited to: gender and age in order to assist users in finding and communicating with each other.

SpaceCollective.org also logs non-personally-identifiable information including IP address, profile information, aggregate user data, and browser type, from users and visitors to the site. To facilitate the connection between members on the service, SpaceCollective.org allows users to search for other members using display names. We may also use a user's email address to send updates or news regarding the service.

SpaceCollective.org uses cookies to store visitors' preferences and to record session information for many purposes, including ensuring that visitors are not repeatedly offered the same Web page content based on browser type and user profile information. We do not link the information we store in cookies to any personally identifiable information you submit while on our site. SpaceCollective.org reserves the right to transfer personal information to a successor in interest that acquires rights to that information as a result of the sale of SpaceCollective.org or substantially all of its assets to that successor in interest.

Changes in Our Privacy Policy
From time to time we may make changes to our privacy policy.
