Yesterday, the 'last' portuguese surrealist, Luiz Pacheco, died at the hospital. He had no problem on writing anything he believed in, or on being inconvenient to others when he expressed what he tought. And he had a lot of friends, probably because a long time of his life he lived on friends small money help, but also because he always expressed himself without fear of what others would think, and he was a very creative mind, and very critical one too, even for his best friends. I think the most amazing thing about this guy, as for sure some others in history, was the integrity of his mind, always above the integrity of his body, allways above the food he migth get or not on his stomach.
