This is the world's largest flower, also called "corpse flower" because it smells of rotting flesh. It is a parasitic organism found in the jungles of S.E. Asia that can grow to be 3 feet in diameter and weight 11kg.


Feeding off the host plant, the bud breaks through the host's bark and takes 9 months to blossom into a five-petaled flower. Unfortunately, this is hard to capture because the blossom only lasts for a few days.
