Essentially we will be putting ourselves on a very distinct and extremely different path of evolution- we actually have already been doing this. Evolution is happening at an unprecedented rate because of technology, and it appears that this will happen even faster and faster with the coming years. Soon enough there will be two fundamentally different human species living on Earth. But as we become more aware of global consciousness, due to technology, will we be more inclined to help the "underprivileged", offering them what we already have?
