    Just so you know, this isn't real mass. This is some emergent property theoretically analogous to mass, as far as moving charges on grapheme are concerned. However, this will not change the observable rest-mass of the system, and will only alter the movement of charges within graphene. This property could have applications to semiconductors, or provide a model system to mimic some relativistic physics, but will not lead to an ability to manipulate rest mass.
