Michael GaioWed, Sep 10, 2008 Great to see this here. I began doing some research into quaternion mathematics earlier this year while creating a unique 3D visualization engine (here). Although vector-based mathematics is more common in 3D computation (which derived out of the original quaternion mathematics), quaternions can offer a more appropriate method of simulation that is congruent with reality (as it accounts for 3 dimensions of space and another dimension for time/motion - all integrated within the same mathematical formula). Although vector-based computation is may be simpler to implement, quaternion computation is more elegant. Simply said, quaternions are a mathematical solution to unifying the perspective split in our comprehension of space-time.

And this is just the beginning ... I have a sense that deeper and very specific insights will emerge from the subtle influences embedded in space-time chaos dynamics.
