Getitindot.com, otherwise known as “GIIDC” is the next generation of social networking sites. We like to think of it as a cultural networking site! As the world seemingly gets smaller through the Internet, and people spend increasingly more time glued to their computer screens, watching other people sitting at their computer screens, we propose something different. We encourage our users to get up from their computers, go out and experience the world, document what they do or what they’ve seen via photo, video, blogs, etc., and share it with the other millions of people already getting it in across the world. If you’re a traveler, curious about what people do for fun in a certain area of the world, and are itching to get out and experience something new, or if you want to show people the way you give back to your community or tell others about a really cool spot somewhere off the beaten path, Getitindot.com is the place to do all that and more!
We like to think of “getting it in” as a verb. It’s whatever, whenever, wherever. It’s your world! Do…you! Getting it in isn’t only about the partying and fun. It’s about making a difference where you live, educating ourselves and others about the differences we share culturally in the human race, and bring the world closer together with accurate, user driven representations of what really goes on in our own backyards. We’ll leave it up to you to determine if it’s actually GIIDC CERTIFIED. We’ve posted some of our videos to give you a peek at our world, and how we get it in. What we really want to see is how you get it in! In the near future Getitindot.com will allow users to create their own profiles, representing their world! It will be a place of cross culture communication and discovery for everyone who comes to visit your page, a place that’s all about you!
As the founders of GIIDC, we feel it’s our undying duty and responsibility to get it in with as many different people as possible from all walks of life.
