You know, there is some talk that the hallucinations are made of afterimages that are not necessarily updated in realtime with the conventional perceptual input.

My apologies Gamma, I was wrong, it wasn't Michal Cifra on the episode, it was Stuart Hameroff on the episode.

Omegahype wrote:

Yeah, that episode was great. It was titled Through the Wormhole: Life After Death and Michael talked about his theories and work but the whole episode is fantastic. I've been trying to find the episode in its entirety, but I can't find it anywhere online so I will probably order it when it comes out on DVD. I attached the link to a clip of the episode below.

http://science.discovery.com/videos/through-the-wormhole-life-after-death/

Gamma, I actually just got an email from a friend of mine after I sent him the quantumconsciousness link you sent, and he attached this link:

http://www.platonia.com/

My friend said this about him:

this guy was on Thru the Wormhole - basically he said what one experiences during Satori - that time does not exist, each snapshot is frozen like a film - and our minds roll the individual frames to create time (and movement). Everything is static. Each snapshot is an entire universe unto itself. The eternal now is what exists...

Thought you might find his work interesting.
