In Michael Nyman, the music follows a constant tempo until the 48th second...

...then it kind of slows down. As I am taping (the cushion of my keyboard) with my finger on one, I believe that the emphasis is on one, that every beat is pronounced with a louder sound of the piano key. Then, around 1 minute and 10 seconds the piano stroke is as emphasized on one as it is on two (when my hand is in the air). At about 1 minute and 19 seconds, he fills several tones into the time when my hand is in the air (on two, so to speak). In the following few strokes my hand trembles slightly when it needs to go down. It defies gravity. It questions as it enters the reality and the beauty of the music on two. Something is lifting it up.

The moment of two minutes and 46 seconds into the clip. He enters the reality on two again. Did he skip a tone expected to fall on one? Instead of a single note, he flies through several ascending tones quickly and repeats that in the following seconds. And in that moment I see the feathers of flapping wings, static nonetheless as if they are caught in a single frame while oscillating.
