earth section:
whether it is seen as two perforated, stacked boxes or a bunch of tubes, doesn' t change too much by now. the crucial idea behind the both is the possibitly of change in size due to programmatical constraints. from wide spaces to small, to circulation diminuished spaces, the produced variety should offer for all programs the needed space. the voids afford lighting and visual connections in vertical direction for orientation.
as a second system, smaller private spaces are interwoven in the voids (this idea derives from the section in space and is probably not adaptable for the earth section....)
