The Final Installation
The following pages display some of the visuals generated by my final installation. The installation which will be showcased in the Broad Art Center consist of a plexiglass panel system that constricts bubbles to create a visualization of the creation, merging, splitting and regeneration of cell bubbles. The piece functions through the use of air pumps, household soap and one sensor. The natural state of the system involves the simple pumping of bubbles when trauma or people are introduced to the environment, the sensor is tripped and destruction of the bubbles begins only to end after motion has stopped. The piece reflects the amazing relationship with nature as well as the practical aspect of automatic regeneration in structures through redundancy.
