Thank you for sharing this interesting video.

Our government relies on a simplistic economic model of human beings that allows inequality to grow and offers nothing positive in the face of the reactionary forces they've helped to awake in the world. If we ever want to escape from this limited world view we will have to rediscover the progressive positive ideas of freedom and realize that Isea Berlin was right - not all attempts to change the world for the better lead to tyranny.

I am not exactly sure how to relate to the ideas expressed in the video, because I am generally apolitical. However, I do have a strong need for some revolutionary ideas and revolution. I do not know if the way my friends and I act and feel are considered revolutionary, or are just generational. I feel like there is not much of a venue for revolution - or at least, the only revolutions I have seen are taking place underground by people who sidestep and ignore what's going on in the mainstream society. I don't think these revolutions have large political agenda's either. What I'm talking about are people who care about their own ideas and other people's ideas. I'm talking specifically about my experience last year with meeting new people in Santa Cruz. My friends and particularly my house mates showed me that it is important to live your dreams. This is even echoed in a big inscription on the outside of the building at Skyline Community College as "Be The Change You Want To See In The World".
