SpaceCollective
Where forward thinking terrestrials share ideas and information about the state of the species, their planet and the universe, living the lives of science fiction. Introduction
Featuring Powers of Ten by Charles and Ray Eames, based on an idea by Kees Boeke.

● Contrastic volumetric space
- compressed = cocoon like, fit
- extended = loose, vast
● Integration of structure and surface
● Envelope versus membrane = reaveal and conceal of interior
● Structure breaking through skin which allows the penetration of light
- change of intention = concealment reveals
●Structure consist of “orbits” with 4 main focuses- public, private, semiprivate+binder of the whole unit
●Fold bringing surfaces together, while simultaneously dividing them or bends them one into the other, as it organizes the space they occupy
●Smooth and continuous flow vertically and diagonally (diagonal movement), segmented horizontally
●Illusion of stacking = continuous partition broken by floors
●Contiunous view versus continuously concealing and reavealing view
●Multiple connections
●Circulation follow folds

-Frank Lloyd Wright's idea of breaking space into segments of single and double space height with central high ceiling area
-Taking horizontal emphasize into space it is represented by a circle in a section, by changing angles and sizes of those circles I get the main structure. And bringing it back to earth, horizontal emphasize turns into diagonal emphasize.
-Technique used to connect structure into surfaces is folding.
