    FEAR and the senses
Project: Design Media Arts at UCLA
I have been looking into the way our bodies react to surprising moments, whether it is ignited by fearful realizations of something creepy crawling by your feet or the sudden burst of shrieks from a loudspeaker.
check out this article on the science of fear; most the research relates to the functionality of the brain and genetics

so not only has this been of great interest to me in the making of the multi-sensory experience presented in this project, it has given me new insight on how to relate the exoereince visually on the other end(which is the COMPLETE opposite-everything is bright and explosive)

Ive been doing some work in processing to develop some form of visualization that will relate to the number computed by the heart rate sensors
