    The last couple of years within the gaming industry have presented some interesting new ideas on how we play with our environments:

    A game whose concept revolved around an alien planet in which the player coordinated behavior of the native elemental, plant-like creatures of the same title to aid in the retrieval of spaceship parts.

    Katamari Damacy

    As a character called the "Prince," players collect objects from Earth to create new stars in space by rolling a "katamari." The process of accumulating virtually everything visible in the world with the katamari happens through a kind of snowball effect.
