Nature always wants to be a circle, there are no straight lines.

The mistake in dead nature is the spiral - as the crystallographers say about the crystal growth. But also the spiral is the sign of creation and evolution. That is the life. So - we can say:
Life is the mistaken dead nature

I'm not sure if I understand you correctly! If 'life is the mistaken dead nature' means life is a phenomena in dead matter, I agree with you completely!
Spiral growth and crystal growth both create patterns but with very different attitudes towards matter. Crystal growth is a pattern while form transiting from one phase to another (nucleation, i.e. liquid to solid). However spiral is a pattern in a form traveling system in response to time and space (conformation) and it also shows how life can repeat itself mindlessly.

Ok Leili, but as I said before, the mistakes or dislocations in the structure of the crystals are looking as spirals. The same material, the same process only not successful and regular process, that is what results the spiral shape. Look at it here:http://www.phy.mtu.edu/~jaszczak/Photos/NYgraphite/1744a.jpg

You can find countless examples on the web.

Spiral is a system existing in a wide range of sizes (from micro to macro) http://www.korncirkler.dk/universe/spiral2.jpg
... when two of these systems collide or merge a dislocation/mistake/phenomena/catastrophe could happen.
