B.F. SKINNER SKINNER BOX
B.F Skinner the famous behavioral psychologist constructed this air-crib for his daughter Deborah. He had a theory that the child would be happier if she could be in a controlled environment portected from the natural elements so she wouldn't have to wear clothes or blankets for example. Rumors falsley claim that Deborah became psychotic and killed herself in a bowling alley due to the trauma of being in the air-crib in her early childhood.
The air-crib is featured in Skinner's utopian novel Walden Two, link below to read about it.

MIKAEL GENBERG CAFE KOALA VÄSTERÅS, SWEDEN & RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL
The chairs at the outdoor cafe are situated 5 meters above ground. Order a cup of coffe on ground level and climb up into your chair. Well in place the coffe will be hoisted up to you. Though the cafe is situated in an urban setting, it alters the environment and vantage point. Being closer to nature by getting above ground level.

VISIONAIRE SCENT ISSUE
My relationship to nature is very much an experience for the senses. I have a scent memory from all of my favorite places and stumbling upon a similar scent brings back the memory of a place or event. The scents in the Visonaire issue are conceptual and artificially created (I would think) but they still draw upon scents that can be found in nature. On the website you can experience the scent through image and sound.
