Project 1: Concept
My concept is to visually illustrate facts and figures in an interesting and meaningful way. The following two images show information in a computer generated way that helps explain and give further meaning to the idea of that fact.

I don't want the output to be too literal, but rather only to be understood with an explanation. Without an explanation the final product should be 3D and look abstract. And then after explanation and further scrutiny, the message should be clear and important.
Some more abstract ways to do this would be with the use of a kind of visual map of strings and links like in the processing project http://www.vimeo.com/468413. This one shows a map of a person's email network.

Another visual representation is this one http://www.vimeo.com/463821 which uses letter characters in color and in 3D to recreate images from a Batman movie in an abstract and artistic way.

This one makes use the the extrude function, stretching an image into 3D.http://www.vimeo.com/439512

I don't know exactly how I would code this in Processing, but I know that I want to make use of variables arrays and classes so that the fact can be changed with only a few changes to the code and have the output render much differently for each fact. I think I can find an algorithm within this criteria that I can alter to fit my concept. The final product would be a moving 3D image with a sentence that explains the statistic.
