    If Knowledge Is Power...
    I was just wondering....

If knowledge is power, then why are there so many "not-so knowledgeable" people in power today and the more knowledgeable are subordinates.

NOW before some of you start...I'm not contradicting the quote. I just thought it was funny.

Today, I think "having power" isn't what it used to be. AND it seems that a lot of people acquire it more easily today, but can't handle having it.

I cannot agree more with that statement. I've always felt that those people with superior knowledge and good intentions, more or less, are also the type of people that lack the drive and leadership to become powerful. And those with those "go-getter" skills are often not-so knowledgeable.
