    Project: Design Media Arts at UCLA
    Concept 1
    Naturesphere(the portable biosphere)
    Input-Output model

    Important elements:
    Nature is your escape from everything. From technology, from society, from everyone. It is your own space. It is your unique experience. No one can experience the same.
    THEREFORE: everyone must have their own experience
    Contrasts of Day vs. night

    Take measurements of person in relation to environment(body rhythms)
    -movement (motion detect)
    -breathing (respirometer)

    Output(nature rhythms)
    -Air (cold/hot/wind)
    -projected visuals(live streams??? outposts???)
    - how would the outposts be created? solar powered/satelite?

    -Dome shape(round)
    -Grass ground

    Where would these installations be?
    -Epitome of urban
    -Inside buildings

    Myst-like environment

    Concept 2

    More immersive nature - nature mapping
    Mobile devises that augment the nature experience
    Provide a better historical and scientific background
    Also create a memory map and emergency locator
    Share history of experience with other people. Photos, perspective.
    Relationship to time.

    fastest way to escape to nature. Connect people who want to go to nature
