    LIVE DATE_seeking participants
    Dear fellow Space Collective members,

I am illiciting your help in devising the following experimental art experience for the Emergence/Navigating Space project on Space Collective:

I need someone to find me a blind date for THIS WEDNESDAY March 12th sometime between the hours of 9 AM and 12 PM.

This will not be just any blind date though, this will be a spontaneous non-rehersed 15 minute blind date, performed LIVE in front of my Programming Media class at UCLA's Design|Media Arts school.

The idea is that we will sit down at a table facing one another and be adorned with galvanic skin response sensors (that I built myself), which we will wear for the duration of the date as the readings are projected for the audience to see.

Galvanic skin response sensors measure levels of excitement in the sympathetic nervous system, also known as the fight or flight response, and are set off by all varieties of emotional arousal, from anxiety and "stress", to sexual feelings and startle response, so hopefully the circumstances will prove excitatory.

If i don't know you and you live in the LA area and are interested in said social experiment, please contact Aaron Olhmann at aaronohlmann@gmail.com as soon as possible.

    Sincerely,
    Megan

I can just see it now. You carry your Galvibe unit, not only on your first date, but anytime you wish to tap into that unconscious self, the Subconscious. And you are video taping, audio too. It would be unheard of to do without that. Funny, huh.
And now we can analyze all that info in the privacy of our own solitude. And if the right, or varied programs are installed, one might even consult the occult, that great Subconscious, The Collective Subconscious to aid us in natural selection.
Oh, and don't forget it could have two sets of leads. Cross reference.
Now, to think of it .............that is how I found love. I virtually filtered myself, as I knew myself at the time, through a program that filtered others that match me. "No TV", right up on top. Now that is a filter!
I will be searching the post to hear how it came out, the 'Blind Date'.
And, you might consider putting an array of alarms. One could be for 'Mr. Right' or 'Danger'. You never know who you will meet.

    So far so good here.
