    Project: What happened to nature?
    On lines of similitude
    languid with reference
    secondary virtues arise
    as still Doric columns,
    still tree trunks, now stone

    and crossed with attitude.
Every avatar is lifted up here,
    locked into the grid,
    lackless

    and grand,
alluring pedestals of light cones past.

And so relieved, we're night bound again
    singularly seeking some repose

and gratitude from golden mean bastards
who pointed out the non-obvious exceptions and
    the unknown.
