Prometheus Rising was my entry point into a new freedom.



I found the book through some investigation on the matter of Chaos Magick. It is said to be a must read for every serious practitioner (which I am not, but still interested).

Since I reached the age of reason, I remember to be a super analytical, logic only, clinging to the intellect thinker. Which has it's advantages for survival, but will let one miss allot of life quality. Through PR I learned that I couldn't care less about my belief system.

Following the 8 circuits of consciousness of Timothy Leary, Wilson explains how we all perceive the same 'reality' different through our senses. He gives you a good understanding what 'reality' might actually be and how you can change your view on it.

My entry with this book is the following. Until recently the humans had a rather fixed view of reality that worked for everybody. But in the age of information, nothing is sure and granted anymore. You can believe what you want and might be wrong whatever.

It is essential to know and experience the diversity of our existence with all its edges. It is fundamental in our age to understand how we perceive what we are. Only on this way we can have a future we look forward to. Everything else is chaos or a dead end.
