    ANALYSIS: VILLA ROTONDA
villa rotonda is hirachially organised. it consists of an axial collective space flanked by smaller private spaces. these rooms sit on a thickend ground, a puffer zone, which is an half open space.
the poché is used to get continuity and smooth geometry.

    EXTRA TERRESTRIAL DIAGRAM

    TERRESTRIAL DIAGRAM

spaces develop through folding surfaces so pockets are created.
in the extra terrestrial and terrestrial section spaces are organised like the villa rotonda. to create floors, walls and ceilings the surface is folded to enclose spaces.

    Hi Nora,

your section is really diagrammatic and has a strange relation to antique central american decration.
But since I know your reference of the fluid mixing pattern, I think the concept is clear.
    Please also post your reference.

The big task now is to start to introduce the third dimension and to create an aesthetic for the object.
Also, define more rigorous rules for the folging of the surface. There could be an almost mathematical precision about it.
