I agree. Even though I bought myself a split keyboard to teach myself touch. School didn't really teach it in an enticing way. The benefits of real world use was what got me to learn it.
I'm looking forward to the next interface. Wacom has it's range of tablet screens, Microsoft the Surface, Apple the iphone multitouch screen. Then there are all the experimental prototypes of various ways to control, make and compose music:
But yeah, the brain implant is the one I'm looking forward to as well.
