nagashFri, Mar 20, 2009Permanent link I really like this idead o CouchSurfing. never heard of, but it's seens very interesting. I just can't see me like a couch adventurer, but the idea of hosting completely random people in my house intrigues me - but also, looks kind of dangerous
aeonbeatFri, Mar 20, 2009Permanent link i just had my last guests, a girl from greece and a boy from irland. we had great time talking about all this and that, next week a writer is coming, i tell you - that's the best experience. also had amazing experience on the road last time i hitchhiked, most interesting characters took me with them. otherwise i can't seem to find a way to meet these people... :)
gammaSat, Mar 21, 2009Permanent link I'm sorry I could not read your post, it was very dense and nuts. I spotted two words though, "real time" and "couch surfing".
I think that real-time implementations have managed so far to stuck every computer that ran them. It would be strange that brain can perform anything in real time. I encountered a recent article with mathematical proof that neurons can encode data AND instructions in time (like using only length of time unit for encoding). I like the idea. It makes me feel this slow going world...
As for couch surfing, I enjoy the idea, including Afghans going from Britain over to France, over to .... I've seen many Europeans at friends's places' - and I have no idea whats the next step with that! If we need a social club (yes we do) - I surely heard it LATE and on a fortune cookie.
:-))
aeonbeatSun, Mar 22, 2009Permanent link couchsurfing is one of them, hospitality club is the other famous one. Cs just turned over 1 mln surfers :)
